I still have a Bear take-down bow with fiberglass limbs that requires no screws to hold it together; I don’t know if they are still available, but they are ideal for a schumer-hits-the-fan scenario. I also have a bow-fishing kit that attaches to it, with which I’ve taken some good-size fish. Bow hunting requires the art of stillness. It is rewarding to have deer come within a few feet to sniff and stare trying to decide what you are.
